The Berolina-Liner System has been used worldwide by cities to meet a variety of sewer pipe rehabilitation needs. Founded in Berlin, Germany in 1961, BKP Berolina created a system which combines trenchless technology with the highest quality of liner, using an innovative, patented product containing a mixture of plastic hardened with fiberglass. These composites, made from high quality polyester or vinyl-ester resins, offer extreme firmness, utmost corrosion resistance, and incomparable durability.
A Berolina Liner consists of up to 5 layers of resin-soaked fiber glass and/or polyester webs which overlap and mold seamlessly to piping. This unique webbing optimizes the flow of the pipeline without hindering the Berolina Liner’s elasticity. The fiber fabrics in the liner are arranged so that the overlaps are staggered, achieving decisive advantages. The liner can be installed in one piece, even at cross-sectional or profile crossovers, and easily adjusts to match local conditions.
The Berolina-Liner System is an innovative method of sewer pipe rehabilitation which has been used for over 40 years to treat wastewater and stormwater pipes in 21 countries. In 2008, CIPP Corp partnered with BKP Berolina to become the exclusive representative and installer of Berolina Liners in the United States.
